Overskill is skill-based competition, no luck: you put up a USDC entry, play your CS2 match, and if you win you take the reward. The outcome depends 100% on your play — no paid advantages. All money moves on-chain on the BASE network, transparently, and Overskill never holds it in custody.

You need a public Steam profile, on an account at least 90 days old with a minimum of 50 hours in CS2 — that's our anti-smurf gate. Plus a wallet with USDC on the BASE network to put up your entry.

Hit Connect with Steam at the top and authorize access. No passwords — you sign in with your Steam account. Once in, link your wallet to jump into your first match.

Overskill runs on USDC on the BASE network. Link your wallet by signing a message (no passwords) and your entry is held in on-chain escrow for the duration of the match. Keep a little ETH on BASE too, for gas when you claim your reward.

You can play Solo (1v1) and Duo (2v2). You pick the format when you create your lobby.

As the leader you pick the format, entry and region. To add friends, invite them by username (the invite lasts 5 minutes) or share your 6-digit code or the lobby link. Once everyone marks Ready, the lobby joins the queue.

Ask the lobby leader for their 6-digit invite code and enter it in the join-with-code option. If someone shared an invite link, opening it takes you straight into the lobby.

The system pairs you with opponents on the same format, region and entry: a 5 USDC entry never meets a 15 USDC one. While you search, you see the queue status. If no match forms within 30 minutes, you leave the queue and can lower your entry or change region and try again.

When the system finds a match you have 30 seconds to confirm with a tap. Confirm fast so you don't lose the match.

After you confirm, you get the server details and a Connect button. You have 3 minutes to join once the server is ready; the server checks your Steam account against the match roster.

During a live match you have 5 minutes to reconnect to the same server with no penalty. Reconnect as soon as you can.

We measure server performance throughout the match; if it runs poorly, it's logged as evidence on your report for review. And if a match hangs for more than 60 minutes without finishing, the system voids it and refunds your entry 100%.

A winner takes 1.8× their entry. For example, with a 15 USDC entry you take 27 USDC (your 15 back + 12 in winnings). Overskill takes a 10% fee on the winning share; the rest goes to the winners.

Your entry is locked in an on-chain escrow contract on BASE for the duration of the match. Overskill never holds your money or keeps it in an internal balance — it all lives on the blockchain and is auditable.

If your opponent no-shows or abandons, they forfeit their entry (they net zero) and you take the reward just like a normal win. In team matches, the total is split among the winners.

Claim wait depends on your Trust rank (synced on-chain as PlayerRank): Recruit 72h, Established 24h, Veteran 2h, Elite 0h. New accounts start as Recruit. After unlock, claim from your wallet.

After your claim wait unlocks, open your wallet in Overskill and sign the claim transaction from your own wallet: the USDC goes straight to your account. Overskill doesn't sign for you or touch your funds.

A claim reverts if your rank-based claim wait has not elapsed yet, if the reward has a hold or an open dispute on it, or if there's a problem with your wallet (for example, no ETH for gas). If your wait is over and it still fails, reach out on the official Discord and the team will help you recover the funds.

Tickets are a free giveaway layer, separate from the competition. They can't be bought, aren't money and can't be redeemed for money, and they never affect your match results, your rewards or matchmaking. They're only for entering giveaways.

You earn tickets when matches end, at random moments in the week: up to 3 per week and regardless of whether you win or lose. The week runs Monday to Sunday (UTC).

Add overskill.gg to your Steam name to activate a profile badge and extra tickets based on your streak of consecutive days: 7 days → +1, 15 → +2 and 30 → +3 tickets per week. Removing it from your name ends the streak. It's a benefit you turn on and off whenever you like.

We combine several layers: Steam VAC, a server-side plugin that analyzes play, and demo review by our team. You install nothing on your PC. If Steam flags a recent VAC ban, we review your matches from the last 14 days and hold any suspicious rewards.

From the match page you can report a player for cheating, toxicity or abandoning. Your report is anonymous: the reported player never learns who reported them. The team reviews each case with the match evidence.

From the match page, within the 72 hours after it ends, you can open a dispute: pick a category and write your reason. The evidence (demo, logs, and match events) is attached automatically — you upload nothing. The target is a first response within 24 hours and a resolution within 72.

Yes. Suspensions (for example, from VAC or cheat detection) are appealed through the official Discord, where the team reviews each case. Use the Discord button below to get started.

Your name and photo come from Steam: to change them, edit your Steam profile and they sync next time you sign in. To delete your account or export your data, reach out on the official Discord.
