Best 1v1 and Aim Duel Maps in CS2 (Workshop, 2026)
Workshop maps for 1v1 duels and aim training in CS2, each with a checked Workshop ID, how to load them with a friend and a 20-minute routine.
Last updated:
Most “best 1v1 maps” lists mix up two different things: maps for fighting another person and maps for training alone against bots. Both are useful, for different jobs. This guide separates them, gives the exact Steam Workshop ID of every map (checked in October 2026) and explains how to use them.
One warning first: plenty of classic CS:GO maps are still on the Workshop but don’t work in CS2. Always check that the map page says CS2 and that it was updated after the game launched. That’s why the IDs are listed below: many copies share the same name.
Duel maps vs. training maps
| Duel maps | Training maps | |
|---|---|---|
| Against whom | Another person | Bots or targets |
| What improves | Reading the opponent, timing, peeks, nerves | Mechanics: flicks, tracking, spray control |
| How you play | With a friend, in a party | Alone |
| Example | aim_redline | Aim Botz |
If you only train against bots, your mechanics improve but not the part that decides a real duel: the opponent moves, waits and changes angles on you. The best results come from mixing both.
Maps for 1v1 duels
aim_redline
The classic aim duel map, ported from CS:GO to CS2. Two facing sides with cover boxes and an invisible block in the middle so nobody can rush the other player. Good for rifles and pistols.
- Workshop: aim_redline (ID
3199551320)
aim_onze (CS2)
A small 1v1 map with official CS2 textures and see-through cover. Because it’s so compact, grenade buying is turned off. Great for quick pistol duels.
- Workshop: aim_onze (CS2) (ID
3466853551)
aim_map [Aim]
A CS2 version of the old aim_map. Don’t confuse it with the 2013 original: that one is a CS:GO item and doesn’t load properly in CS2.
- Workshop: aim_map [Aim] (ID
3604891709)
Maps for training aim alone
Aim Botz – Aim Training (CS2)
The most used training map in CS2: static or moving bots, every weapon one button away and walls for practicing peeks. Use it to warm up flicks and first-bullet headshots.
- Workshop: Aim Botz – Aim Training (CS2) (ID
3070244462)
Recoil Master – Spray Training (CS2)
For spray control: you follow a guide on the wall showing the pattern of each automatic weapon. Same author as Aim Botz.
- Workshop: Recoil Master – Spray Training (CS2) (ID
3100869952)
Yprac Hub
Brings the Yprac modes together in one add-on: aim trainer, prefire routes, utility lineups and more, which used to live in separate maps. If you find old “Yprac” pages marked “[CS2 in Description]”, those are CS:GO versions.
- Workshop: Yprac Hub by Yesber (ID
3070715607)
training_aim_csgo2 (unofficial port)
The classic target map, adapted to CS2 by the community. Useful for reflex work without bots.
- Workshop: training_aim_csgo2 (Unofficial Port) (ID
3356732599)
How to subscribe and load a Workshop map
- Open the map’s Steam Workshop page and press Subscribe.
- In CS2, go to Play and open the Workshop Maps tab.
- Pick the map and start the game. It’s hosted on your PC.
To play with a friend, invite them to your party and turn on Open Party before starting: since the March 2026 update, friends can join a Workshop game you already started from their friends list. If the map won’t load for your friend, have them subscribe too.
A 20-minute routine
A short routine before you play does more than a long session once in a while:
| Minutes | What to do | Map |
|---|---|---|
| 0–5 | Flicks and first bullet on static bots | Aim Botz |
| 5–8 | Spray with your two main weapons | Recoil Master |
| 8–10 | Prefire common angles | Yprac Hub |
| 10–20 | Real duels against a friend, switching weapons every few rounds | aim_redline or aim_onze |
The last block matters most: real duels teach you not to peek the same side twice.
The Duels maps on OVERSKILL
Duels, the OVERSKILL 1v1, is played on maps built for dueling. Every one is a symmetric arena, mirrored 180°, so neither player starts with the better position. Players switch sides of the arena during the match, and both use the same weapon. Each match’s map is picked at random from the pool.
| Map | How it plays |
|---|---|
| Stone Garden | Stone corridors and corner nests. Tight duels where every peek is a commitment. |
| Sand Sprint | Small arena with short lanes and constant contact. Built for fast, aggressive duels. |
| Overlook | The shortest distance in the pool. Ramps and platforms: height decides the duel. |
| Bazaar | The arena with the most cover. You have to earn every angle. |
| Ziggurat | Wide and fast, but with short sightlines. Aggressive tempo. |
| Terraces | Stone terraces and arches in the middle. High ground beats the AWP. |
All six are public on the Workshop: subscribe and walk them before your first Duels match. For other ways to play 1v1, see the types of CS2 1v1 servers.
